Description
1) Objective
The Yves Rocher Foundation was founded 23 years ago, reflecting the Rocher family’s desire to give back some of what we owe to the plant world. The Foundation is therefore committed to preserve biodiversity by assisting women who have created active communities and who are dedicated to this cause, by planting trees around the world, and by preserving unique and important plant species in France and across the globe. The Terre de Femmes award highlights the strength of the fight of women.
Working to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations for gender equality and the empowerment of women, the Yves Rocher Foundation has already honoured 375 winners in more than 50 countries. Alongside these women, the Yves Rocher Foundation strives for united environmentalism, which is critical to preserving biodiversity.
