Description
1) Objective
The Regional Fund for Women’s and Feminist Organizations and Movements (Fondo Regional) is issuing the third call for grant applications for women’s and feminist civil society organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Regional Fund is a joint initiative of the governments and civil society organizations participating in the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, which aims to strengthen women’s and feminist organizations and movements, and their work in coordination with Mechanisms for the Advancement of Women, with the purpose of reducing gender inequalities, strengthening democracy, institutional development, and the formulation and implementation of public policies for equality, through the availability of resources, with the ultimate goal of achieving equality.
2) Eligibility
The proposals must be submitted by non-governmental organizations with presence in at least one country in Latin America and the Caribbean, and must be oriented towards a strategy to strengthen organizational and management capacities to promote environmental and/or climate actions with a gender perspective; or actions to prevent and respond to violence against women, in line with the Regional Gender Agenda agreed within the framework of the meetings of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean of the ECLAC.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Latin America and the Caribbean.
4) Budget
This call contemplates two types of proposals: (1) Modality 1: Funding of USD 10,000 for proposals with a maximum duration of 3 months, per women’s and/or feminist organization or movement; and (2) Modality 2: Funding of USD 20,000 for proposals with a maximum duration of 5 months, per women’s and/or feminist organization or movement.
5) Application
The Organizations and Movements of Women and Feminists (OMMF) that wish apply to this call must fill out the online application form before the October 12, 2025 the 23:59 hours, City of Panama (GMT -5).
