Description
1) Objective
The U.S. Embassy in Honduras’ Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) invites proposals for programs that strengthen ties between the U.S. and Honduras through programming that promotes U.S. interests and bilateral cooperation. All programs must include an American element, or connection with American expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives.
Priority Program Areas are:
- Promotion of regional security cooperation
- Anti-Corruption, Transparency, and Democracy
- Economic Prosperity
- Science, Technology, and Innovation
2) Eligibility
Eligible applicants include Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations with programming experience; Public and private educational institutions; Not-for-profit cultural institutions; Individuals; Media outlets.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Honduras.
4) Budget
The grant has an award ceiling of $40,000 and an award floor of $15,000.
5) Application
The closing date for applications is 4 June 2025.
