Description
1) Objective
The Public Diplomacy Grants Program aims to strengthen U.S.-Cabo Verde relations by funding initiatives that promote mutual understanding and collaboration. These grants support projects aligned with U.S. foreign policy priorities, including economic growth, security cooperation, democratic governance, and cultural exchange.
All projects must include an American cultural element, or connection with American expert(s), organization(s), or institution(s) in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives.
2) Eligibility
The following U.S and Cabo Verdean organizations are eligible to apply: Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations, Public and private educational institutions, Public International Organizations and Governmental institutions.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Cape Verde.
4) Budget
Grants may range from $2,000-$10,000.
5) Application
Applications must be submitted by 31 July 2025.
