Description

1) Objective

IMPACT AREA 1: PROTECT

  • Outcome Area 1: Access/Doc Refugees, asylum seekers, IDPs and people at risk of statelessness have increased access to the territory, registration and documentation in accordance with international and national protection law and principles. Output • Refugees, asylum-seekers, IDPs and persons at risk of statelessness are provided with documentation, legal aid, and enhanced access to HLP rights, including at areas of return. • Comprehensive data management (collection and analysis) is conducted to assess the needs of refugees, asylum-seekers and IDPs.
  • Outcome Area 3: Policy/Law Government authorities are supported to ensure the national legal and policy framework are aligned with international conventions and enhanced inclusion into national systems. Output • Government authorities and communities are supported to implement protection sensitive preparedness response. • Legal and policy framework is amended to align with international protection standards and to support inclusion into national systems.
  • Outcome Area 4: GBV GBV survivors and women at risk have safe and adequate access to quality services to respond to their needs. Output • Awareness raising and capacity development to authorities and community members on GBV risk and prevention is conducted. • Refugees, asylum seekers and IDPs at risk of GBV / GBV survivors are identified and referred through accurate case management system.
  • Outcome Area 5: Child (Child Protection) Risk of violence, exploitation and abuse of children and adolescents are identified and addressed. Output • IDPs children at risk are identified and referred to specialized services. • Refugees and asylum seekers children at risk are identified and referred through strengthened government response system. Outcome Area 6: Justice Refugees, asylum seekers and IDPs have access to effective legal remedies and appeal processes. Output • Legal aid is provided to refugees and asylum seekers.

IMPACT AREA 2: Assist/Respond

  • Outcome Area 8: Well-being (Access to life saving assistance and basic needs) Refugees, asylum seekers and IDPs have improved access to services and assistance to meet their basic needs. Output • Refugees, asylum seekers and IDPs are supported with basic assistance through CRI and/or CBI.
  • Outcome Area 9: Housing (Shelter, CCCM and Energy) Refugees, asylum seekers and IDPs have improved access to sustainable sites and shelters. Output • Site management in prioritized Government sites is ensured through coordination with relevant actors and community participation. • Site management and coordination in refugee site is enhanced. • Refugees, asylum seekers and IDPs are technically supported to build and maintain safe and sustainable shelters with the provision of shelter kit materials and on job/capacity building training. • Refugees, asylum seekers, and IDPs have access to improved and safer energy systems.

IMPACT AREA 3: Empower

  • Outcome Area 7: Community Community engagement is strengthened to foster inclusion and resilience of vulnerable refugees-IDPs and enhance access to complaint and feedback mechanisms (CFM). Output • Women, children, and people with specific needs, including people with disability and elderly people, are supported with dedicated services. • Community-based structures are strengthened through implementation of community-led initiatives and capacity development including adapted CFM mechanisms.
  • Outcome Area 13: Livelihoods Refugees, asylum seekers, IDPs have increased access to sustainable livelihoods opportunities. Output • Refugees, asylum seekers and IDPs have increased access to technical, financial, and/or other support to enhance livelihoods and economic inclusion.

In order to be considered as an implementing partners, applicants must meet the following criteria: must be non-governmental organisations and must have sector and region experience.

Actions must take place in Mozambique.
