Description
1) Objective
Through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NFO), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) intends to implement an activity to save lives, decrease disease, and increase the potential of women, newborns, children, and communities to thrive by increasing the quality and equity of services, reducing mortality and increasing coverage of lifesaving interventions through the support of the primary health care (PHC) system in Madagascar.
- Access Miahy Goal: Accelerate sustainable reductions in MNCH morbidity and mortality through increased access to and availability of quality PHC services.
- Access Miahy Objectives: Build the capacity of MOPH actors and other relevant stakeholders at district, facility and community levels to design, develop, manage, deliver, monitor and evaluate health services and programs aligned with the intervention packages in their catchment areas.
