Description
1) Objective
The purpose of this USAID Education: Equity and Inclusion activity is to improve equitable education outcomes for marginalized1 youth in grades 6-10. The activity will support local governments to bring out-of-school children into school, increase retention of learners through grade 10, and ensure equitable and quality learning opportunities for marginalized youth.
In order to improve equitable educational outcomes for marginalized youth, USAID Education: Equity and Inclusion will pursue the following objectives:
(a) Objective 1: Reduce barriers to access and retention in grade 6-10
(b) Objective 2: Improve quality of education for marginalized students in grade 6-10
(c) Objective 3: Ensure quality implementation of disbursement linked indicators related to equity and inclusion activities under the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology’s School Education Sector Plan

Eligibility is unrestricted.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Nepal.
4) Budget
USAID intends to award one Cooperative Agreement pursuant to this notice of funding opportunity. Subject to funding availability and at the discretion of the Agency, USAID intends to provide up to $20,000,000 in total USAID funding over a five-year period.
