Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is to improve the waste management in the Prespa region in compliance with EU standards and principles. The specific objective(s) of this call for proposals is: to develop a waste management communication programme for improving waste management practices in Prespa region
The priority(ies) of this call for proposals are:
• Public awareness for proper waste management;
• Education on sustainable waste management practices;
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation; public sector operator; local authority; international (inter-governmental) organisation as defined by Article 156 of the EU Financial Regulation and (3) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.

Actions can take place in North Macedonia.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €200,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €180,000 and maximum €200,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (60%) and maximum (90%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 16 July 2024.
