Description
1) Objective
WPHF seeks to fund qualifying local women’s rights and women-led organizations to respond to the current situation in the Philippines through the following funding streams:
- Institutional funding from 2,500 USD to 30,000 USD
To reinforce the institutional capacity of local civil society organizations working on the implementation of the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda to ensure they are able to sustain themselves and to improve their impact. - Programmatic funding from 30,000 USD to 250,000 USD
To finance programmatic activities of civil society organizations that ensure the (i) Increased meaningful participation and decision-making of women in conflict prevention processes and response (aligned with WPHF Impact Area 2).
2) Eligibility
International, national and local women- led, women’s rights, feminist, or civil society organizations with a proven track record working with women and girls, in PNG are eligible to apply. Grassroots and local community-based organizations are particularly encouraged to apply. Joint projects are allowed and encouraged.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Philippines.
4) Budget
Funding may range from $2,500-$250,000.
