Description
1) Objective
The Regional Department of Cooperation and Cultural Action (SCAC) covering the Eastern Caribbean States, the OECS, Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname and Guyana, launches the 2026 campaign of the Small Grants Programme. This programme aims to support innovative projects from the civil society (associations, NGOs, cooperatives…). Since 2021, 40 projects have been funded in the 11 countries covered by the SCAC.
The projects must focus on one or more of the following thematics :
- Ocean (marine health, biodiversity…)
- Sports
- Cultural and Creative Industries
- Francophonie
- Youth Support
- Sustainable Agriculture
- Women’s Empowerment
2) Eligibility
The Public Affairs Section encourages applications from the United States, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines from: Registered not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations with programming experience; Individuals; Non-profit or governmental educational institutions; Governmental institutions.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Eastern Caribbean States, the OECS, Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname and Guyana.
4) Budget
Selected projects will be granted up to 85% of the total amount of project, with a maximum limit of €4,600. The project must be implemented between September 2026 and June 21, 2027.
5) Application
The 2026 call for projects is open to applications until August 16, 2026.
