Bosnia and Herzegovina
Description
1) Objective
UN Women Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the framework of the project “Women Lead the Way Towards Peace and Security in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, implemented with the support of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Peacebuilding Fund (PBF) and in partnership with the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is seeking to sign a Partner Agreement with a Civil Society Organization (CSO) to strengthen the capacities of local police in delivering gender-sensitive services to marginalized populations in eight local communities across Republika Srpska.
UN Women invites eligible CSOs to submit proposals presenting creative, innovative, and effective approaches to lead a comprehensive initiative that promotes gender-sensitive policing practices, strengthens trust and cooperation between local police and marginalized communities, and enhances the leadership roles of policewomen in advancing inclusive, community-oriented security efforts.
2) Eligibility
UN Women is soliciting proposals from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
3) Location
Actions must take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
4) Budget
The total budget available for this call for proposal is up to BAM 68,000. The activities will be implemented for a period of 12 months, starting with June 10, 2025.
