Description
1) Objective
East Europe Foundation is launching the second wave of the grant competition “Support for CSO Advocacy Campaigns on the Recovery of Territorial Communities and Preparation for Ukraine’s Accession to the EU.” The competition is held within the framework of the project “Phoenix: The Power of Communities,” implemented by East Europe Foundation with the support of the European Union.
The purpose of the competition is to strengthen the participation of civil society organisations in the processes of territorial community recovery and European integration. Within the competition, advocacy projects, information campaigns, etc., will be supported to promote transparency and accountability in recovery processes, enhance cooperation between civil society and the public sector, and raise awareness of recovery processes, particularly in light of Ukraine’s European integration course.
2) Eligibility
Eligible applicants are CSOs, namely: charitable organizations (non-profit societies, institutions, foundations, etc.) and civil society associations (civil society organizations, unions) registered as legal entities in Ukraine with non-profit status (numeric identifiers assigned to nonprofit organizations 0032, 0034, 0036).
3) Location
Actions must take place in Ukraine.
4) Budget
It is planned to support up to 10 organisations in the amount of UAH 800,000 to 1,100,000. The expected duration of projects: 6–8 months.
