Description
1) Objective
The Standard Chartered Foundation’s Women in Tech Accelerator supports impact-creating, tech-enabled, women-led startups in building thriving businesses across Africa, the Middle East, and Pakistan. Village Capital partners with supports local implementing partners in each market to strengthen program delivery through strategic guidance, technical assistance, and shared learning frameworks, ensuring founders receive high-quality, locally tailored support.
Women in Tech is a program by the Standard Chartered Foundation, designed to support impact-creating, tech-enabled, women-led startups with specialized training, catalytic funding, and access to a global network of industry leaders, finance providers, and ecosystem partners.
2) Eligibility
Applicants should have a women-led, impact-creating, or SDG-aligned business that is tech-enabled, with an established business model or service already in the market.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Bahrain, Botswana, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, UAE, Uganda, and Zambia.
4) Budget
Total available funding is $600,000.
5) Application
The application deadline is 30 June 2026. A full proposal must be submitted online.
