Call for Proposals for Organizational Grants

Description

1) Objective

The main objective of the Call for organizational grants is to strengthen organizations that are active in the priority areas of Civil Society Fund for several years by supporting the achievement of their long-term strategic goals and enhancing their organizational capacities.

Applicants must submit a multi-year organizational work plan or strategy covering strategic objectives for both their programme activities (e.g. work with minority communities, advocacy for vulnerable groups, etc.) and organizational development (e.g. human resources management and development, fundraising, communications, etc.). The strategic plan must clearly demonstrate how the organization will improve its organizational capacities during the implementation period (e.g. increased visibility and recognition, a larger membership and supporter base, improved transparency, etc.) and how the support will contribute to achieving its substantive objectives (e.g. reaching more beneficiaries, implementing more activities). Expected changes must be presented through annual quantitative indicators.

2) Eligibility

Eligible applicants are non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that, on the date of application submission, meet the criteria set out in Article 2 of the Slovenian Non-Governmental Organisations Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 21/18), comply with the requirements specified in the Civil Society Fund Programme Agreement.

3) Location

Actions must take place in Slovenia.

4) Budget

The call is divided into two lots: Lot 1: Organizations with an annual budget between €70,000 and €200,000; grant amount: €120,000; Lot 2: Organizations with an annual budget exceeding €200,000; grant amount: €180,000.

5) Application

Applications may be submitted exclusively through the E-grant online portal. Application deadline is 15 October 2026 at 15:00.
