Description
1) Objective
This year, the Children’s Prize Foundation is looking for projects that support resilient, hard infrastructure. Hard infrastructure refers to tangible, physical structures and systems that are essential for an area to function. Key components of hard infrastructure include, but are not limited to: buildings and facilities, energy, water and sanitation, transportation, communication, and other essential systems such as environmental protection systems and flood control systems. The 2025 Children’s Prize will prioritize initiatives that create long lasting resources that play a core role in sustaining child health.
The Children’s Prize is awarded to scientifically-minded individuals with a passion for global child health and a strong commitment to verify the impact of their work.
2) Eligibility
The Children’s Prize is available to anyone. Proposals will be accepted from non-profits (charities), for profits (companies), government programs, academic institutions, and individuals aged 18 years or older. However, the prize funds may only be used for charitable purposes, as specified in the contest goals.
3) Location
Actions can take place worldwide.
4) Budget
The award is $165,000.
5) Application
Applications are open until 19 September 2025.
