Description
1) Objective
The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Chisinau, launches the Call for Proposals for Small Grants in the Republic of Moldova for 2026. Projects must be implemented within the sectors defined by the Medium-term Strategy for Development Cooperation of the Slovak Republic for 2025 – 2030:
- quality education (SDG 4)
- good health (SDG 3)
- good governance and civil society building (SDG 11, 16, 17)
- food safety and agriculture (SDG 1, 2)
- infrastructure and sustainable use of natural resources (SDG 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15)
- support for the creation of a market environment (SDG 8, 9)
2) Eligibility
The call for proposals is open to registered: non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities; non-governmental organizations; local and regional self-government units.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Moldova.
4) Budget
Total available funding is €60,000. One grant may range up to €10,000.
5) Application
The deadline for submission of project proposals is 30 April 2026 at 12.00 (EEST). Project proposals must be submitted both electronically and in hard copy: electronically by email to smallgrants.sk.md@gmail.com and in hard copy to the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in the Republic of Moldova: Str. Alexei Sciusev 101, Chisinau MD 2012, Republic of Moldova.
