Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is to contribute to promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, democracy and the rule of law worldwide. Specific objective of this call for proposals is to protect and empower the individuals, in particular the most vulnerable categories (women and girls, children and youth as well as persons with disabilities).
The priority of this call for proposals is to protect and empower targeted individuals in the following areas:
- Health: to respond to the basic necessities of health care Education with special focus on people with disabilities
- Education with special focus on people with disabilities
2) Eligibility
Eligible organisations are: (1) non-profit-making; (2) non-governmental organisation (civil society organisation), public sector operator, local authority as defined by Article 156 of the EU Financial Regulation9; (3) established in a Member State of the European Union or in the State of Eritrea or other countries as stipulated by the NDICI Global Europe Regulations Art. 28.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Eritrea.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €610,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €200,000 and maximum €610,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (90%) and maximum (90%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The full application together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 2 September 2024.
