This 60-minute working session is based on the FUNCAP Framework by TripleMinds: 4Rs that are covering the entire grant fundraising cycle:

1 – RESEARCH: you develop your grant funding strategy and research your best potential funders;

3 – REQUEST: you write winning grant proposals that stick using storytelling elements; and

This FUNCAP Lab is a dedicated to the second ‘R’ (RELATE) and refers to your LinkedIn profile. It is designed to build a powerful LinkedIn profile to get your foundation fundraising to the next level.

Why your LinkedIn profile matters?

Most LinkedIn users have not set a specific goal for their presence on the platform. They either ‘lurk’ or post occasionally without a clear strategy. However, if you want to use LinkedIn for strategic foundation fundraising, you need to understand:

• How the LinkedIn algorithm works: How the algorithm behind Linkedin works to get seen and heard.
• Profile Optimization: How to adjust and attune your profile to enter the right ‘ecosystems’ so that foundation decision-makers actually see you.
• Outreach Strategies: How to apply our two strategies – Rapid Reach or Hot-Match Strategy – to get on the radar of potential funders.
• Direct Engagement: How to effectively connect and start conversations with foundation program staff.

What are we going to cover?

We kick off with a 25-minute presentation on the theory behind a strong LinkedIn profile – specifically how LinkedIn can be used for foundation fundraising and how it is embedded within the second ‘R’ (RELATE). We will demonstrate what a high-impact profile looks like and how you can use it to kickstart relationship building with foundations. Furthermore, we will show you how to leverage AI to support your efforts.

As this is a hands-on session, we will move directly from theory to practice. You will look at your existing LinkedIn profile and define immediate action steps for improvement. TripleMinds experts will be on hand to provide direct feedback and advice.

You will leave the FUNCAP Lab with a strong LinkedIn profile – finalized either during the session or through follow-up email coaching from the TripleMinds team.
