Relationship-based fundraising is about partnerships at the same height, about win-win cooperations that are formed to achieve a joint mission.
There is a great guide called the ‘Relationship-Based Fundraising Field Guide’ by I.G. Advisors in cooperation with the Ford Foundation that explores this topic in detail.
First, you can take a self-assessment test and browse through the Warm Up resources. Then you will be ready to design your own journey through the guide. The full process is comprised of two main sections, each divided into two parts: Section I Part A (Preparing for the Process) and Section I Part B (Designing the Donor Journey). Both parts provide you with a lot of practical templates.
