Description
1) About
The Lomellina Foundation is dedicated to respecting, developing, and protecting nature and the animal world while promoting education and cultural enrichment in these areas. Its objectives include: (1) encouraging the respect, development, and protection of wildlife, including hunting activities, in Switzerland and internationally; (2) promoting education and understanding of the animal world through initiatives focused on preserving fauna dignity and survival, particularly in the face of habitat reduction; (3) organising and expanding collections of materials, documents, and artworks related to nature, fauna, exploration, and hunting for scholarly and cultural purposes; and (4) preserving specific geographical areas and individual plots in Switzerland and abroad to protect native animal species and their habitats.

4) Application Procedures
Applications for project funding must be submitted semi-annually, with deadlines at the end of April and the end of October. Decisions regarding funding will be communicated within two months following these deadlines. To submit ideas and projects to the Foundation, applicants can send the required format via email (see contact details below) or initiate contact by phone. The application template can be downloaded from their website. Individual grant sizes range between CHF 20,000 and CHF 60,000 (sometimes more).
