Description
1) About
The Pan Caribbean Partnership Against HIV and AIDS (PANCAP) was established in 2001 in response to the threat of HIV to sustainable human development. PANCAP is a Caribbean regional partnership of governments, regional civil society organisations, regional institutions and organisations, bilateral and multilateral agencies and contributing donor partners. PANCAP provides a structured and unified approach to the Caribbean’s response to the HIV epidemic, coordinates the response through the Caribbean Regional Strategic Framework on HIV and AIDS to maximise efficient use of resources and increase impact, mobilises resources and build capacity of partners. They also focus on policy coordination in relation to human rights, advocacy, stigma and discrimination reduction, civil society, harmonisation of donors and technical agencies in HIV. They also have a huge resource library with latest developments, infographics, etc.

These countries include Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Guyana, French Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Turks and Caicos.
