Description
1) Objective
The EEA Civil Society Fund and this Call focus on supporting democracy, the protection of human rights and the development of civil society organisations with the aim of strenghtening their resilence and long-term sustainbility.
A portion of the Bilateral Fund’s resources, amounting to €150,000, is earmarked for supporting bilateral initiatives. These grants enable organisations to develop and strengthen their expertise and cooperation, and to share knowledge, technology, experience and best practices. The grants are intended to fund bilateral activities and initiatives undertaken in collaboration with an organisation from one of the listed states. These activities may build upon or complement other grants awarded under the EEA Civil Society Fund.
2) Eligibility
Eligible Applicants are civil society organisations (CSOs) that are established in the Czech Republic or any of the Donor States, meet the one-year registration period requirement, and fall within the following definition: a non-profit organisation with a non-commercial purpose, independent of local, regional, and central governments, public entities, political parties, and commercial organisations.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Czech Republic.
4) Budget
Total available funding is €150,000. Grant amounts may range from €2,000 – €10,000.
