Call for Applications for Small Grants for Women’s Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and CSOs working on Gender Equality

Description

1) Objective

UN Women in Türkiye invites eligible civil society organizations to apply for Small Grants ranging from USD 2,500 to USD 30,000 to support the development and strengthening of institutional capacities of women’s civil society organizations and CSOs working on gender equality.

This Call for Applications is launched under the project “Strong Civic Space for Equality and Women’s Empowerment – Phase II”, implemented by UN Women with the financial support of the European Union. The project aims to strengthen the role of civil society as an agent of transformative change for gender equality and women’s empowerment in Türkiye.

2) Eligibility

Applicants must be women’s civil society organizations or civil society organizations working on gender equality, legally established and operating in Türkiye for at least 3 years.

3) Location

Actions must be implemented in Turkey.

4) Budget

UN Women plans to award approximately 10 small grants through this call. The proposed budget must be between USD 2,500 (minimum) and USD 30,000 (maximum), and the requested budget must be submitted in Turkish Liras. The proposed duration should be up to 12 months.

5) Application

Applications must be submitted by: 6 April 2026, 23:59 (Türkiye local time) via email.
