Description
1) Objective
The Schöck Family Foundation (SFS) aims to support projects domestically in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and internationally in select countries including India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Uganda, and Ethiopia. Founded in 2012 by Sabine Schöck, the foundation prioritizes initiatives that provide tailored support, quality education, and training to disadvantaged individuals, fostering opportunities for successful and responsible lives.
Projects focusing on human rights, education, and sustainable development are particularly encouraged, with an emphasis on partnerships with local organizations to ensure effective implementation and long-term impact. Depending on regional circumstances and the social environment, the Schöck Family Foundation is focused on various objectives, including imparting basic knowledge, fostering personal development, providing vocational training, educating about individual rights, opportunities, and responsibilities in society, boosting self-esteem, as well as promoting nature and environmental conservation.
2) Eligibility
Applicants can be corporations (e.g., associations, foundations, or non-profit GmbHs) based in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland that are recognized as charitable, as well as municipalities, church communities, and educational institutions. Collaboration with a locally registered partner organization in the target country is a prerequisite for project funding.
3) Location
The SFS primarily supports projects in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and select countries including India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Uganda, and Ethiopia.
4) Budget
The funding period is up to 2 years. Follow-up funding and long-term partnerships are generally possible. The maximum funding amount is usually €25,000 for the entire funding period.
5) Application
Interested organizations should submit a concise project outline, an initial cost/financial plan, and the latest annual report of their organization to info(a)schoeck-familien-stiftung.de. Upon positive pre-screening, applicants will receive the necessary application forms. Applications can be submitted all year round.
