Description
1) Objective
The Asian Community Trust (ACT) aims to build a “Bridge of Mutual Help and Resource Sharing” in civil societies across Asia. To pursue this aim, ACT assists projects developed by local people’s groups, NGOs and other civil society organizations with the purpose of improving people’s quality of life in their own communities and sharing their successes with others.
For the fiscal year 2026, ACT is calling for project proposals to which any of the following conditions apply:
- Education and Youth Development (Scholarship type)
- Education and Youth Development (Non-scholarship type)
- Health and Medicine
2) Eligibility
An applicant is non-profit organization or educational institution required to have either legal status or to be registered with a responsible public entity. It is also required to be transparent about its activities and financial condition.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Cambodia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
4) Budget
Grants may range from 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 Japanese Yen per year and per project.
5) Application
Interested parties are requested to send their project proposals directly to the Tokyo ACT Office by email by 23:59 of January 13th, 2026 (Tuesday), Japan time (JST/GMT+09:00).
