Description
1) Objective
The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Erbil opens a call for proposals of Small Scale Projects (SSP) in Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) in 2026. SSP should be focusing on useful contribution to the local community and smaller development activities, in line with the country’s national development plan, focusing on education and health sector, renovating or upgrade, support of development activities of local institutions and organizations, participation in larger projects, etc. The projects should be focused on their sustainability.
The objective of SSP is to contribute to the needs of development and to support a positive change through local entities.
2) Eligibility
Only local organizations with legal entity in Iraq or KRI may submit SSP proposals.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
4) Budget
The SSP budget shall cover development activities of the implementing organization only. No capacity building costs of the organization (such as overhead costs) are acceptable. SSP funding ranges 200,000 CZK – 500,000 CZK (approx. from $8,500 to $22,000).
5) Application
SSP Identification Form should be received latest by September 30th, 2025.
