Description
1) Objective
This grant call seeks to receive proposals from nonprofits with a thematic focus to support the next generation of leaders in agriculture helping them to develop innovative solutions for agri-food systems. The innovation program for sustainable agri-food systems should target at least one of these areas: digital agriculture, climate resilience, capacity development, market efficiency, energy for food systems, and lastly, food innovations.
Program implementation must target next-gen within the age bracket of 18-40 years, including young farmers, youth leaders, small and medium-sized enterprises owned by younger persons.
2) Eligibility
This Call for Applications for Grant (CAG) is open to all nonprofit organizations registered and recognized as charitable or non-profit organizations under the law.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States and Zambia.
4) Budget
The Foundation will provide a maximum of US$400,000 to US$450,000 for this grant cycle to carry out the plan.
