Description
1) Objective
The objectives of the call: to support and empower national NGOs engaged in advocacy activities and their regional NGO partners to strengthen the implementation of human rights, democracy, the rule of law, and all other EU values; to increase public awareness of human rights, the principles of democracy and the rule of law, and all other EU values; to strengthen cooperation between national advocacy NGOs and regional NGOs and facilitate knowledge transfer.
The impact areas of the call: 12 national advocacy NGOs receiving financial support for advocacy and awareness-raising activities; 12 NGOs implementing advocacy campaigns aimed at influencing public decision-making related to equality and/or the safeguarding of any other EU values; 600 individuals directly participating and engaging in civic activities organized by NGOs; 12 awareness-raising campaigns on equality and/or any other EU values organized by NGOs; 14,000 people informed about EU values by NGOs; 12 partnerships established between national advocacy NGOs and regional NGOs for the implementation of advocacy and awareness-raising activities.
2) Eligibility
The applicant is an NGO established and operating in the Republic of Lithuania that meets the following definition: “A non-profit voluntary organization established as a legal entity, having a non-commercial purpose, independent of the local, regional and central government, public entities, political parties, and commercial organizations”. Religious institutions, trade unions and political parties are not considered NGOs (this definition follows the NGO definition set forth in the Article 2.3 of the Law on the Development of Non-Governmental Organizations).
3) Location
Actions must take place in Lithuania.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €720,000.
5) Application
The full application together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 17 February 2026.
