Description
1) Objective
The CEI Cooperation Fund co-finances CEI Cooperation Activities aimed at strengthening cooperation among CEI Member States. CEI Cooperation Activities are organised by institutions of CEI Member States to implement the strategic goals and main objectives set by the CEI Guidelines and Rules of Procedure and the CEI Plan of Action.
CEI Cooperation Activities aim at capacity building by knowledge transfer and sharing, in particular from EU CEI Member States to non-EU CEI Member States, and at exchanging experiences and good practice among all CEI Member States by favouring mobility and networking. In this context, particular attention will be paid to the involvement of non-EU CEI Member States and to a reasonable balance between participating EU and non- EU CEI Member States.
2) Eligibility
Applicants shall be public and private entities based and registered in CEI Member States (including NGOs/CSOs) and international/regional organisations
3) Location
Actions must take place in CEI member countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia, and non-members: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Rep. of Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, and Ukraine.

The overall indicative amount made available under this Call is 360,000 EUR (180,000 EUR for the first semester 2023 proposals and 180,000 EUR for the second semester 2023 proposals). The ceiling of the CEI co-financing amounts to 15,000 EUR (max 50% of the total project costs). The Call requires the participation of attendees from at least six CEI countries per proposal
