Description
1) Objective
UN Women Bangladesh, in partnership with the European Union, seeks a CSO to implement Output 2.1 of the project – Ending Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in Public Spaces, workplace and educational institutions. The project strengthens institutional mechanisms in workplaces, educational institutions, and public spaces to prevent and respond to violence against women. It promotes evidence-based prevention to transform institutional norms and practices.
- Outcome 1: National gender-responsive laws, policies, and budgets are better formulated, adopted and implemented in institutions by government actors to prevent sexual and gender-based violence in public spaces, at workplaces and in tertiary educational institutions.
- Outcome 2: University Grants Commission, selected tertiary educational institutions, and public sector workplaces in Bangladesh have improved attitudes and behaviour to prevent sexual and gender-based violence in public spaces, at workplaces and in tertiary educational institutions.
2) Eligibility
Organisations must have: at least 10 years of demonstrated experience in implementing programmes on gender-responsive climate change, disaster risk reduction, gender equality, and women empowerment; and in formulating result-oriented, and monitoring frameworks based on indicators
3) Location
Actions must be implemented in Bangladesh.
4) Budget
The budget ranges from BDT 45,000,000 to 46,500,000.
5) Application
Proposals must be received by UN Women at the address specified not later than 5:00 pm on 18 June 2025.
