Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is “to increase the capacities of civil society organisations to support the achievement of the ambitious targets of the European Green Deal”.
The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:
1- To improve the operational and institutional capacities of CSOs towards engaging in all aspects of the Green Deal
2- To support the active involvement and participation of CSOs, working in the thematic areas of the Green Deal, in decision-making processes
The priorities of this call for proposals are:
• To improve the organisational and implementation capacities of CSOs towards developing and piloting integrated and innovative solutions and actions on all aspects of the EU’s green deal,
• To foster partnerships with local and European actors as well as business community,
• To empower citizens/CSOs and improving the advocacy capacities of CSOs in areas of concern under the EU Green Deal.
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be non-profit-making and (3) be a civil society organisation and (4) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Turkey.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €5,000,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €400,000 and maximum €600,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (50%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 36 months nor exceed 48 months.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 20 March 2023.
