Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is to support civil society in promoting inclusive political participation and representation of marginalised groups, in particular of LGBTIQ+ communities and persons with disabilities in Nepal. Within the broader theme of political participation and representation, the call is divided into two lots, each with its own specific objective.
The specific objective(s) of this call for proposals are:
- Lot 1: Support targeting LGBTIQ+ communities: to strengthen and enhance effectiveness of civil society efforts to promote more effective and inclusive political participation and representation of LGBTIQ+ communities in Nepal.
- Lot 2: Support targeting persons with disabilities: to strengthen and enhance effectiveness of civil society efforts to promote more effective and inclusive political participation and representation of persons with disabilities in Nepal.
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be non-profit-making and (3) be a specific type of organisation such as non-governmental organisation.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Nepal.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €1,500,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €450,000 and maximum €500,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (50%) and maximum (95%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 20 May 2025.
