Description
1) Objective
In line with the objectives specified in the programme document, the global objective of this call for proposals is: To promote good neighbourly relations, foster Union integration and contribute to social, economic and territorial development of the programme cross-border area by improving environment protection and preservation of resources, and developing sustainable nature-and-culture tourism.
As a result of a decision made by the JMC of the programme on 6 June 2025, out of the two thematic priorities of the programme document:
- Priority 1: Protecting the environment, promoting climate change adaptation and mitigation, risk prevention and management
- Priority 2: Encouraging tourism and promoting cultural and natural heritage
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation, public bodies (national, regional, local), bodies governed by public law etc. and (3) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions can take place in Albania and Kosovo.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €5,280,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €300,000 and maximum €1,080,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (70%) and maximum (85%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 24 October 2025.
