Description
1) Objective
The overall object of this convocation of proprietors is to support the OSC as a “change agent” for the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development. The specific object of this convocation of proposals is to support the work of the OSC to participate and influence the way it is structured in the definition and monitoring of the implementation of public policies and actions that contribute to the promotion of the economic and social integration of the Vulnerable youth have access to decent work.
The priorities of this call are:
• Support the participation of CSOs in the definition of legislation, public policies and the monitoring of its implementation, in matters of formalization of employment
• Support the most vulnerable young people and jobs (women, ethnic and sexual minorities) in the formalization process and, specifically, in registration before the National Superintendency of Administración and Administración Tributaria (SUNAT) and in ESSalud (employees) or the Sistema Integral de Salud (SIS) (auto empleados) to be able to exercise those entitled to social protection.
• Support the design and the implementation of professional training programs – including dual professional training (alternation between the educational center and the company) – with organizations and associations representing the business sector and the competent authorities in the field of education and training.
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be a civil society organization; or be a network, platform or other type of coalition of CSO with legal status and (3) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Peru.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €2,939,500. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €600,000 and maximum €1,000,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (60%) and maximum (90%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 21 May 2024.
