Description
1) Objective
The Australian Embassy in Belgrade is pleased to announce a call for project proposals that will be supported through our Direct Aid Program (DAP) in the financial year 2024-25. DAP is a flexible small grants program funded from Australia’s aid budget and managed by the Australian Embassy in Belgrade. They welcome project proposals from capable non-profit and civil society organisations from Serbia, North Macedonia and Montenegro seeking funding for the activities addressing the following priorities:
- Promote human rights, freedom of media and freedom of expression and good governance
- Promote gender equality and empowerment of women and girls
- Support anti-smoking campaigns in primary and secondary schools
- Support youth mental health
2) Eligibility
DAP is available to non-profit and civil society organisation, community groups and other entities engaged in development activities in Serbia, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Serbia, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
4) Budget
DAP project expenditure is limited to a maximum of 15,000 AUD.
5) Application
The call for project proposals will open on 12 September and close on 6 October 2024 at 23.59hr. Application forms must be submitted through the online grants management system, SmartyGrants.
