Description
1) Objective
The Project Proposal should cover the months of September 2025 to August 2026. During this time, WFP through its partners will implement: (1) Hotspot Response: September 2025 to August 2026, in activated hotspot’s locations, beneficiaries will be assisted for three months with 50% ration size; and (2) Contingencies Response: September 2025 to August 2026, responding to any sudden onset shock (natural disaster, displacement, etc.) in the province, beneficiaries will be assisted for 2 months with 100% ration. Proposals must specify the project and project code FAO/BAD/01 Badakhshan (Shuhada, Khash, Raghestan, Shahr-e-Buzorg, Kohistan, Yawan, Fayzabad, Tagab, Teshkan, Yaftal-e-Sufla, Argo, Keshem, Darayem, Baharak) FAO/KUN/01 Baghlan & Kunduz (all districts).
The result is to provide nutrition-sensitive, unconditional emergency food assistance to members of severely vulnerable, food-insecure households in targeted districts to prevent further deterioration of their food security and nutritional status.

5) Application
The application deadline is 8 June 2025. A concept note must be submitted online via the application portal. The applications should be submitted through UNPP if not it will not be considered. CSOs wishing to participate in this Call for Expression of Interest must submit Electronic Concept Note (online) using United Nations Partner Portal (UNPP).
