Description
1) Objective
The aim is to facilitate the transition toward a sustainable, circular, energy-efficient and climate-resilient economy, a toxic-free environment and at protecting, restoring and improving the quality of the environment in line with the European Green Deal and recent policy developments.
The specific objective is to cover one or more of the following topics as fully defined in section 2 of the Call document:
- Activities in support of public administrations’ decision-making and voluntary approaches for the public and the private sector
- Environmental compliance assurance and access to justice
- Behavioural change and awareness-raising initiatives
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible, the applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must be legal entities (public or private bodies) registered in an eligible country.
3) Location
LIFE projects shall take place in the territory of the European Union Member States plus Ukraine, Moldova, North Macedonia.
4) Budget
Funding rate is 60% and the EU contribution ranges from €700,000-€2,000,000. Total funding available is €4,000,000. They want to fund 3-4 projects.
5) Application
Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Funding & Tenders Portal Electronic Submission System (accessible via the Topic page in the Search Funding & Tenders section. Paper submissions are NOT possible. The deadline is 23 September 2025.
