Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is: to contribute to an enhanced and more effective EU voice in support of the EU’s long-term and balanced relations with China.
The specific objective of this call for proposals is: to promote dialogue, cooperation and insight production between EU and Chinese think tanks, research institutes and academic institutions focusing on green governance.
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be a public or private think tank and/or a research or scientific institution and/or an academic institution (including higher education institutions) that issues post-graduate and higher level degrees; and (3) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions must take place in one or more of the following countries or regions: P.R. of China and Member States of the European Union.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €500,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €250,000 and maximum €500,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (51%) and maximum (80%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The full application together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 30 October 2026.
