EU for Youth

Description

1) Objective

The call for proposals aims to enrich and diversify the Youth Guarantee offer while strengthening private sector engagement, through the design and piloting of a one-year post-secondary dual VET apprenticeship model, led by an employers’ organization/s. The selected programme for implementation is the dual vocational programme “Management of Accommodation Structures”, Level 5 of the Albanian Qualifications Framework (AQF). The assignment will be implemented under the guidance of NAVETQ and NAES, and in close collaboration with the selected businesses and the five pre-selected public VET schools in the regions of Tirana, Shkodër, and Vlorë:

1. “Hamdi Bushati” VET school, Shkodër
2. “Hoteleri-Turizëm” VET school, Tiranë
3. “Kamza VET school”, Kamëz
4. “Commercial VET School’”, Vlorë
5. “Antoni Athanas” VET school, Sarandë

The programme will be piloted with the enrolment of 50 young people across Tirana, Shkodër, and Vlorë, who meet the programs’ admission requirements and are registered in the Youth Guarantee programme at the time of enrolment.

2) Eligibility

Chambers of Commerce or Business Associations (CoC/BAs), with a non-profit legal status will be eligible to apply for a grant.
CoC/BAs may apply either individually or in consortium with other CoC/BAs or NGOs that meet the criteria of this Call for Proposals.

3) Location

Actions must take place in Albania.

4) Budget

The overall financial allocation made available under this call for proposals is $150,000.

5) Application

Project proposals are due on 5 September 2025.
