Description
1) Objective
The Network projects programme eases collaboration between organisations in Eureka countries offering you the freedom to design your project proposal and build your ideal consortium. With limited eligibility criteria and minimal paperwork, taking part accelerates your access to public funding. EUREKA is raising the productivity and competitiveness of European businesses through technology and boosting national economies on the international market, and strengthening the basis for sustainable prosperity and employment. EUREKA Network Projects are transnational, market-driven innovative research and development projects, labelled by EUREKA and supported by the public administrations and public funding agencies that represent EUREKA in each of its 40+ member countries.
EUREKA Network projects are market-driven international R&D projects. They aim to develop marketable products, services or processes. Participation in international cooperation projects through EUREKA offers businesses, research institutes and higher education institutions a range of advantages.
2) Eligibility
To set up a EUREKA project there must be at least two partners from two different EUREKA countries. Partners can be of any type: SMEs, large companies, research institutions and universities.
3) Location
Actions can take place in EUREKA Member Country or a EUREKA Associated Country.
4) Budget
Total funding volume and grant sizes are not specified.
5) Application
In a first step, you need to contact your national funding body to see what funding opportunities are available for your organisation. If your national funding body has no allocated funds for the Network projects programme or you are not located in a Eureka country, you may be eligible for other national funding programmes or you can participate in a project by self-funding. The call for Network projects is open for applications all year round.
