Description
1) Objective
The Women’s Voice and Leadership South Africa WVL-SA) Fund offers Fast Responsive/Opportunity grants of up to R300,000 per annum each, including innovation funding and incubation grants that may be renewed annually based on satisfactory implementation. Grantees will receive diversity, finance, governance, communications for social change and climate justice capacity building for management and staff.
Themes are: Challenging social norms; Climate Change and Sustainable Development; Economic power; Education; Gender Based Violence including mental health; Governance; Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex (LBTQI+), Peace and Security; Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights and Women’s Rights more broadly. Applicants may also propose any other theme areas related to gender justice, provided these are well motivated.
2) Eligibility
This window targets organisations with an annual income of less than R1,5 million annually. Organiations must be based on feminist principles; be women-led and must explicitly include gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls in their mandate and programming

Actions must take place in South Africa.
4) Budget
Grants may range up to p to R300,000 per annum.
