Description
1) Objective
The EU-funded Eastern Partnership Civil Society Fellowship programme is searching for civically minded women and men from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine to join the 2022 cohort of Fellows. Successful Civil Society Fellows will be supported to constructively engage with communities and authorities to drive forward reforms and positive social change.
Community Engagement Fellowships are designed to support Fellows engaging in one or more of the following activities:
- Collecting local evidence on key issues of public service delivery at local and national level;
- Involvement in policy-making: allowing fellows to gain expertise on specific policy issues;
- Capacity development involving fellows in job shadowing schemes and training of trainers;
- Involvement in monitoring public administration activity and results;
- Improvement of CSO accountability and link to constituencies, as well as cooperation between CSOs.
2) Eligibility
Eligibility is limited to: (1) citizenship of Ukraine, the EU country, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia or Moldova; (2) above 18 years old; (3) work for civil society organisation or have proven experience of working in this field; (4) have B1 English level according to CEFR.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
4) Budget
Total available funding is €5,000: individual training, coaching and EUR 5000 to pay for activities, travel expenses, communication costs, bank transfer charges, consular fees, and insurance fee.
