Description
1) Objective
The GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP) in Egypt, implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), announces the opening of its Second Call for Proposals to fund local environmental initiatives.
Primary Focal Areas are:
- Climate Change Mitigation & Adaptation
- Biodiversity Conservation
- Land Degradation & Sustainable Land Management
- International Waters
- Chemicals and Waste (POPs)
All interventions must align with the Country Programme Strategy (CPS) for SGP Egypt during Operational Phase 8.
2) Eligibility
Applications are open to registered Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) registered under the Ministry of Social Solidarity (in accordance with Law No. 149 of 2019).
