Description

1) Objective

The GNYPWD Micro-Funding Seed Grants Initiative is designed to amplify the efforts of young individuals working towards disability rights and inclusion. Beyond just financial support, this initiative aims to be a catalyst for transformative change, encouraging innovation, advocacy, skill-building, and research. It provides avenues for collaborative efforts within the GNYPWD community and engages external stakeholders to bring about substantive outcomes in the realm of disability inclusion.

The GNYPWD Micro-Funding Seed Grants Initiative is not merely a grant but a testament to our unwavering faith in the community’s ability to create impactful change. The cornerstone of this initiative is collaboration; when passionate individuals unite, they not only ignite innovation but also catalyze transformation. Whether your project is geared towards developing new platforms or advocacy, this seed grant aims to empower you to transcend conventional boundaries.

2) Eligibility

Eligible entities include NGOs, community organizations, academic institutions, and individual advocates. Projects should be national or local in scope, represent various disability and marginalized groups, and align with GNYPWD’s objectives on disability inclusion, human rights, and equity.

5) Application

The application process includes a written submission by November 20th and the possibility of pitch calls until November 30th. Winners will be announced on December 15th, with projects starting on January 1st and ending on March 31st.
