Description
1) Objective
Founded in 2010, the ENGIE Foundation views its philosophy and action as the continuation of the social, civic and environmental commitment of the ENGIE Group, one of the world’s leaders in the energy sector. The Foundation supports actions to assist people suffering hardship with the following programmatic focus:
- Childhood and youth: they give these children access to culture, education and healthcare, and reintegrate them through sport (i.e., assistance for hospitalised children in Senegal and Europe, looking after street children in Morocco, Benin and the Philippines, promoting integration through culture with the Paris Opera and Palais de Tokyo as well as through football and tennis)
- Access to energy and essential goods: this includes the energy transition, fighting global warming, women energy and innovation
- Employment & fight against poverty: the objective of this program is to fight against poverty and promote integration through employment by financing concrete projects for the return to employment
