Description
1) Objective
Founded in 1955, the Richard S. Reynolds Foundation is devoted to building strong communities and creating a positive and enduring impact on the world around us. To that end, the Foundation provides assistance to community and worldwide organisations in the United States and across the globe in the areas of (1) science; (2) education; (3) healthcare; (4) environment; and (5) arts.
2) Eligibility
Eligible for grant funding are non-profit organisations that are tax-exempt under IRS Section 501(c)(3).
3) Location
The Foundaton offers grant funding to initiatives across the globe.
4) Budget
Individual grant sizes vary, depending on the nature of the project (average range between $20,000 and $40,000).
5) Application
Grant proposals must be submitted via their online application portal. As there are two annual Board meetings every year (mid-November and mid-May), proposals must be sent by latest October 15 (for the November meeting) and April 15 (for the May meeting). Successful candidates will receive a letter within two weeks of the Board meeting.
