Description
1) Objective
The Wavestone Foundation, formerly the Solucom Foundation, was founded in 2009 by Michel Dancoisne and Pascal Imbert with a view to harnessing the success of the consultancy firm they founded in 1990 for the benefit of a humanitarian cause. They decided to focus the Foundation’s work on disadvantaged children, a cause they feel strongly about despite being far removed from their business field. The mission of the Foundation is to work in France and internationally on supporting and developing initiatives to help disadvantaged children, particularly those in situations of poverty or extreme deprivation. The Foundation has decided to focus its 2025/2026 campaign on supporting development projects and programs aimed at sustainably improving children’s health and well-being.
These projects may include a range of initiatives, such as:
- Strengthening primary healthcare services, including prenatal and maternal care;
- Developing local health systems and training healthcare workers;
- Increasing vaccination coverage;
- Improving access to treatment for children living with HIV;
- Promoting prevention through awareness and education, particularly around HIV-related risks;
- Supporting access to appropriate care for children with disabilities.
2) Eligibility
Applicants must be based in France or in a country where Wavestone has an office: Belgium, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Luxembourg, Morocco, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
3) Location
Projects must combat severe child malnutrition, particularly in fragile countries (mainly Africa, America, Asia).
4) Budget
The Foundation subsidizes no more than 50% of the total cost of a project and a maximum of €10,000 per project. Every year the Wavestone Foundation accepts and finances around 10 projects.
5) Application
Applications must be submitted online. The application deadline is 16 September 2025.
