Description
1) Objective
This call has two lots:
- Lot 1: The overall objective of this lot is to combat stigma and discrimination against people with disabilities and/or albinism. The specific objective of this lot is to strengthen associations working for the well-being, rights, inclusion, and participation in public life of people with disabilities and/or albinism in Guinea.
- Lot 2: The overall objective of this project is to strengthen the capacities of Guinean CSOs so that they can engage in political dialogue at the national and local levels and in the implementation and monitoring of development plans and programs. The specific objective of this project is to strengthen the legitimacy and operational capacities of Guinean civil society organizations while contributing to their structuring, so that they can participate effectively, autonomously, and sustainably in democratic dialogue, citizen monitoring, and public policy monitoring, in the context of the political transition and beyond.
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be non-profit-making and (3) be a civil society organisation; and (4) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions must take place in Republic of Guinea.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €3,583,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €200,000 and maximum €1,200,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (90%) and maximum (100%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 3 June 2025.
