Description
1) Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is to empower civil society organisations and to support their efforts to promote, protect, and ensure the full enjoyment of human rights in the context of digital transformation. The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:
- Promoting use of technology as a tool to monitor and report human rights violations and improvement of public service provision;
- Promoting innovative approaches in addressing participation in decision-making, accountability and transparency and building connections and share ideas;
- Promoting cooperation between all relevant stakeholders, and in particular the building of partnerships between governments, civil society and technology companies.
2) Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must: (1) be a legal person and (2) be a specific type of organisation such as: civil society organisation and (3) be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
3) Location
Actions can take place in Kosovo.
4) Budget
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is €370,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum €350,000 and maximum €370,000. Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the minimum (55%) and maximum (85%) percentage of total eligible costs of the action.
5) Application
The concept note together with the declaration by the lead applicant must be submitted online via PROSPECT. The deadline for the submission is 3 February 2025.
