Description
1) Objective
These grants are intended to support the work of researchers or research teams in the academic and professional fields, who wish to develop research programs in the aforementioned areas, independently or within the framework of universities, hospitals, companies or research centers to which they are attached.
Research projects related to health promotion have a maximum allocation of €30,000 per grant and must deal with the following themes: (1) Strategies for habit change: prevention of obesity and the promotion of physical activity; (2) Patient education; (3) Physical injury assessment: assessment of the consequences of an event (traumatic or accidental, medical negligence, aggression or illness) on the person’s health and its impact on the essential activities of ordinary life and other specific activities of personal development (moral damage, loss of quality of life); (4) Health management: clinical quality and safety; (5) Longevity and quality of life.
Research related to insurance and social protection receive a maximum award of €15,000 per grant and must be aimed at addressing the challenges of the 21st Century within the following themes: (1) Insurance; (2) Social protection: economy of aging, senior economy, silver economy.
2) Eligibility
The grants are open to any academic and professional researcher and research teams wishing to run research programs, independently or as part of the universities, hospitals, companies or research centers to which they are affiliated.
3) Location
Actions can take place worldwide.
4) Budget
The maximum gross amount of each grant will be 30,000€.
5) Application
The deadline to apply for these grants will be open from June 14 to October 7, 2024 (until 11:59 p.m., Spanish time UTC+2).
